Merriwa Bottle Museum

Open Monday - Friday 9am to 12 noon. Volunteer dependant. Many of the bottles in this museum have been collected over a lifetime by two seasoned bottle collectors, the late Mr Doug Russell and the late Mr Lionel Houlahan.

The Display contains in excess of 5000 bottles, ranging from hand made bottles with separately moulded neck pieces and the round bottom "Torpedo" bottles of the early 1800s to the famous old marble stoppered cordial bottles of 1870s.

Merriwa Visitor Information and Community Technology Centre has a key and is able to show people or groups through with prior notice.
