Celebrating International day for People with A Disability.
1 December marks the International day for People with A Disability and this year Singleton celebrates with a twang at the annual Bush Dance & Dinner.
The night is an opportunity for the community to come together to enjoy a night of fun and music and enjoy meeting new people.
The organising committee which includes local people with a disability, support agencies like Witmore, Challenge Community Services, Ability Links, NDIA and Singleton Council have listened to the local community and are holding the Bush Dance and Dinner again which is becoming an annual highlight of the social calendar. Included in the celebrations this year are a series of Bush dancing workshops which are aimed at giving everyone a chance to participate and join in the fun of bush dancing. Workshops will be held at Club Singleton in the lead up to the night and all are welcome.
