Sculpture on the Farm will be held at “Fosterton” opening on Friday 28 September at 5pm, then Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 September and Monday 1 October, 2018. This inaugural exhibition and sale of sculptures will be held in conjunction with the renowned Dungog Festival, which is a celebration of the arts, local food and rural life and attracts people from all over the state.
Outdoor works will be displayed in the gardens and paddocks of the Williams River property of “Fosterton”, on the outskirts of the Hunter Valley town of Dungog. Indoor works will be displayed in a spacious secure exhibition space, professionally lit and presented.
It is a not-for-profit exhibition, which will direct profit to the promotion of public sculpture and the acquisition of public sculpture for the town of Dungog, thus enhancing the experience of rural life for residents and visitors alike.
