Scone Arts & Crafts will be holding their 23rd Annual Members Exhibition alongside the Annual Scone Horse Festival in May 2019. This will be a ‘Members’ Exhibition’ (joining fee $25.00 annually). open to anyone who is a current financial member. Entry is free and if your work is sold we take 20% of the sale price, to cover our costs. If you are not a current member and wish to join, your membership will last you for 14 months and will become renewable from 1st July 2020. This means that your membership will cover you for entry in Members Exhibition 2020. Entry form has to be returned by mail or email, by Friday 12th April and works delivered to SA&C 10 am -1 pm Saturday 27th April 2019. Everything must be for sale. The Committee reserves the right to refuse entry.
The Exhibition opens 6.30 pm Friday 3rd May (entry $10 per person, drinks and canapes provided) and is then open, to the pubic (gold coin donation) every day 10 am to 4 pm until Friday 10th May and 10 am – 1 pm Saturday 11th May. Entries then have to be collected – 1 pm to 3 pm Saturday 11th. We are not open on Sunday 12th, this year as it is Mothers Day and we always have problems with people collecting their works, on that day.
On Saturday 4th May we also have our Alfresco Cafe open in the gardens serving, Egg & Bacon rolls, sausage sandwiches, cakes and slices and the mobile cafe “Caffemobilita’ will be on site, as usual, serving their excellent coffee, tea and hot chocolate.
Also on site on Saturday 4th May will be “That Little Art Place”, with everything, to purchase for the artists amongst us, Elizabeth Birch with Silk Scarves and Baby ware to buy, Cathy McTavish with exciting gifts for children of all ages.
