My photographic journey evolved throughout the years. Firstly, as an exhibiting artist photographer with the Mosman Artist Society in Sydney. Followed by works in San Francisco, New York, and commissioned works in Uzbekistan.
For 7 years, Mosman was my home (2000-2007) I have had the most humbling experience of exhibiting my photographic works as a member of the Mosman Artist Society at The Mosman Artist Colony and at The Mosman Art Gallery with a few renowned artists of Australia.
In Uzbekistan, I was commissioned to facilitate a Photography Workshop for Women Leaders in 2005. A most challenging time as the country was going through political unrest. The women leaders we were working with were my “body guards” as I move around town wearing my photographer’s vest, 2 cameras slung around my neck and a video camera in tow as well. It was all scary and exciting at the same time.
Muswellbrook is now my home. Photography is just one of my creative expressions. Now, it is a combination of creating dishes and the visual delight of plating a meal as a Chef, and my Yogic Practice as a Padaba Yoga Teacher in The Upper Hunter Valley Community.
These photographic works are just some of the collection throughout the years as I have now retired as an Exhibiting Photographer.
Most of the framed photographic pieces are for sale. 15% of the sale will be donated to the Warrior Disability Services to go towards their fund for a most spectacular and well deserved outing in October 2019.
My prints are limited to 5 editions per photograph. All photographs were filmed on 35mm Film using a SLR (Single Lens Reflex) Camera-Canon. All prints were drum scanned and mostly printed on Archival Paper and Canvas by The College of Fine Arts (COFA) in Paddington, Sydney. COFA renamed in 2014 as UNSW Arts & Design. I WELCOME you all to the official opening day of The Exhibition. Please enjoy.
