In collaboration with the Singleton International Day of People With a Disability Committee, Arts Upper Hunter engaged Singleton artists Janice Hanicar, Hope Hardy and Julia McNaught to work with clients and staff from Witmore Enterprises Incorporated to create artwork with a bush theme.
Artwork created during the four workshops formed the table settings for the Annual IDPWD Bush Dance and Dinner held on Saturday 7 December at Club Singleton.
Arts Upper Hunter is supported by Create NSW, Dungog Shire Council, Muswellbrook Shire Council, Singleton Council and the Upper Hunter Shire Council.
Special thanks to Father Chris Riley’s Op Shop in Singleton for clothing the scarecrows.
Photos showing the decorations were taken by, and are courtesy of Julia McNaught.
