On Friday 1st September Arts Upper Hunter held the first community instalment of their Weave A Thon at Scone High School.
Michelle Earl and her trusty team of wonderful weavers guided students through an arrangement of weaving techniques from weaving a bracelet to NSW & WA weaving style rounds & ovals. There were 30 participants involved in the activity throughout the day, there was lots of laughter and banter, all in all it was well received with participants keen to be involved with the next stage where they will travel to another school and teach students how to weave.
