Arts Upper Hunter is pleased to welcome new board member Rosslyn (Roz) Thomson – community worker, artist and advocate for First Nations. A proud descendant of the Gomeroi people, Roz has grown up on Wonnarua Country.
Roz is a talented weaver and artist. She and her sister Tash Kellett were honoured to be a part of the “Unsettled” exhibition at the Australian Museum in Sydney. They’ve exhibited locally at Merriwa Gallery and Muswellbrook Library. Roz’s woven work featured in the Aboriginal Regional Arts Alliance’s 2023 “Here Now & Always” online festival and art market.
Roz brings a raft of skills, passions, training and local knowledge to her activities and we’re thrilled to have her on the AUH Board.
