Would you love to use your communication skills to develop lively content for creative programs in our region?
We are seeking a Communications Officer to help develop an active online presence for Arts Upper Hunter’s current programs and changing website.
Arts Upper Hunter is the peak body for the arts across the Local Councils of Dungog, Muswellbrook, Singleton and Upper Hunter. We are primarily funded by Create NSW and those four councils to deliver creative opportunities for the communities of this region.
This is a contract position, two days a week for six months.
You will mainly be involved with our larger projects, the Liddell WORKS arts program and Arts & Cultural Trails, as well as our move to a new website. You will also support our eNewsletter and have a role in other parts of our program.
Our mission includes a commitment to First Nations artists to ensure their work is well supported and reaches a wide audience. Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people are encouraged to apply.
This is an exciting and rare chance to become part of a small collaborative team and grow your skills in arts, cultural development and comms.
