The Murrurundi Arts and Crafts Council, formerly the Murrurundi and District Arts Council, was formed in 1988. Its aim is to encourage, nurture and promote artistic pursuits in the Murrurundi area.
With support from the NSW Government through the Restart funding the group ran two workshops:
- First Nations Weaving Workshop facilitated by “Speaking in Colours”.
- Sculpture workshop with Trevor Weekes. This was held at the Scone Arts & Crafts Centre
