The October long weekend in Dungog will be one steeped in art and culture. In alliance with Sculpture on the Farm, Gallery on Dowling has put together a new exhibition, with four artists on show.
Jeanne Harrison has a new body of work entitled “Colour Your Life” – a collection of dynamic abstract works on paper using strong colours and fluid designs.
Helene Leane has been exploring the scenic landscape in Dungog and has painted a series of landscapes that reflect the colours of the seasons, called “Seasonal Changes, Dungog.”
Ros Elkin, a Newcastle based artist, is contributing a selection of her ceramic designs.
Adam Kelly has beautiful sculptures made from driftwood sourced from his home suburb, Stockton.
Please come along to the opening event on Saturday, 30th September at 12 noon. The exhibition will be on show until 4th November, although if works are sold they may be collected prior to this date.
