Audiences of all ages, from every corner of the state, will enjoy unforgettable experiences when 17 outstanding performing arts productions and cultural programs head out on tour, thanks to Create NSW’s Regional Arts Touring 2023/24 fund.
The world-class productions are set to hit the road to a total of 59 different regional communities from Bellingen to Broken Hill, Dubbo to Deniliquin, Murwillumbah to Merimbula.
Anticipated to engage over 100,000 people across NSW, a diverse range of high-quality productions, performances and interactive workshops will showcase the state’s premier talent and creativity, through Aboriginal cultural presentations, live music (including country music, jazz, and orchestra), theatre including children’s theatre, poetry, comedy, and dance.
Sharing in almost $1.2 million in funding, the 17 successful recipients will provide greater cultural access and vibrancy to regional communities, while providing the career-enriching opportunity for more than 350 artists and creative workers to inspire and connect with wider audiences.
Create NSW Chief Executive, Annette Pitman said:
“The works produced by our talented NSW creatives are world-class and should be experienced and enjoyed by everyone, wherever you live across the state.
