Would you like to do something artistic in the context of a local museum? Thanks to a grant from the Regional Arts Fund, AUH will soon be looking for creative people to work with one of three museums in our region to bring to life an object, space, character, story, collection. The result could be an installation, a film, a piece of writing or a song, or a multi-artform outcome that shines a new light on history and our times.
The next step for you will be an Expression of Interest from any artist who would like to take part. We want to see passion, freshness, brilliance, relevance … There will be some match-making to do as we pair the three museums (who were selected last year) with an artist. First Nations artists are encouraged to apply.
We expect the EOI process to start next month. Start thinking and stay tuned!
