Throughout the month of June a pop up exhibition of works created through the Heartworks program will be on display at Singleton Library.
The aim of the Heartworks project was to explore the psycho social benefits of creativity and explore the role creativity plays in reducing social isolation and enhancing mental health outcomes for participants. The works on display are mixed media, with collage, drawing and ceramics represented.
Artists Catherine Hickson and Holly MacDonald facilitated a 6 week workshop in partnership with Singleton Family Support and The Bridge.
The Heartworks project has been made possible through a grant from the PRIMARY HEALTH NETWORK (PHN).
