Arts On Tour’s just announced the successful applicants for their Back Roads program, touring regional NSW. One production, which Arts Upper Hunter is getting right behind, will be coming especially to our region.
Of the three successful applicants, Danielle Brame Whiting’s “Flat Pack” is coming to a space near you! Touring in April 2026, this inventive, very funny and moving play will be at …
- James Theatre Dungog – 21 April
- Merriwa School of Arts – 23 April
- Old Court Theatre Scone – 24 April.
Danielle is still working on the details but keep an eye out for workshops along with the shows.
Danielle Brame Whiting is a theatre artist living and working on the Central Coast. Her creative practice is split between writing, teaching and mentoring for youth theatre, and deconstructing her own generations’ experiences (Generation X). Flat Pack premiered in 2024, produced by The Art House, Wyong.
‘Banjo’ by Got Ya Back Productions and the trial of a new Village Circuit model by NORPA are also happening in the north-eastern part of our state, so if you don’t mind a drive to Gunnedah, Grafton or Kempsey, you may be in luck.
