Welcome to Alive in the Upper Hunter, a new touring initiative connecting communities across the Dungog, Singleton, Muswellbrook and Upper Hunter Shires through inspiring live performances and creative experiences.
From mid 2026 till mid 2027, audiences will have the opportunity to enjoy a diverse program of award-winning theatre, storytelling and live entertainment presented in unique local venues. From community halls and cinemas to wineries, pubs and council spaces, each venue has been chosen not only for its character, but for the passionate local people who are helping bring these events to life.
The program showcases high-quality, affordable, inventive performances, many created by regional performers. Whether you’re a regular theatre-goer or experiencing live performance for the first time, Alive in the Upper Hunter aims to create memorable experiences that entertain, inspire and spark creativity.
