Help keep creativity alive across the Upper Hunter by supporting young people, First Nations programs, or the region’s arts future wherever it is needed most.

What will my donation be spent on?

• A $50 donation to youth buys art supplies for a workshop in a school.
• A $200 donation to First Nations supports a bus delivering young people to next year’s Dare 2B Deadly On Country Camp
• A $500 donation to “general purposes” tops up our small grants program. Last year, donations enabled an artist to take part in a program that gave her a whole new direction to her career.

What does Arts Upper Hunter do?

In the last year Arts Upper Hunter has:

• Held an On Country youth camp for local Aboriginal kids to experience their culture and creative activities live where it matters.
• Run our second NEXT // Studio digital workshop for youth.
• Begun distributing ruined pianos around the region to encourage people to create new things sustainably out of old things!
• Connected dozens of creative people with opportunities across the region and the state.
• Partnered with festivals and organisations across the Upper Hunter Valleys to enhance their events and visitation.
• Supported programs to build creative happenings into small local museums.
• Provided funds to orgs and individuals in every Shire to run their own workshop or event (Country Arts Support Program and Micro Grants).
• Helped groups and Councils get grants for programs that seriously add to the livability of our towns and villages.

Your donation can help keep creativity alive and growing across the Upper Hunter. Arts Upper Hunter connects people, places and possibilities through the arts across Dungog, Singleton, Muswellbrook and Upper Hunter LGAs. With your support, we can back young people, strengthen First Nations programs, and keep vital creative opportunities within reach for our communities. Every donation helps, and eligible gifts of $2 or more are tax deductible.
