Elizabeth Birch, organiser of the Upper Hunter Quilt Adventure has reported.
“What a wonderful weekend we had for the Quilt Adventure. The weather was perfect. A great variety of stalls in the garden and a very nice morning tea and lunch made by the Wybong Caterers.
We had 65 quilts to hang and no two were the same. The quilts came from the top of the Upper Hunter in Murrurundi right down to Singleton. There were so many designs on display.
Thank you to everyone for loaning the quilts and helping promote the weekend.
The winner of the viewer’s choice was Tonia Baton with her quilt called ‘Catch me if you can’.
Tonia won a We Live Here card.
Anne March had a wonderful display of quilts that were donated to the homeless support group in Muswellbrook.
The Ovarian Cancer fundraising raffle was well supported with just over $600.00 raised. The raffle winner was J Campbell from Willow Tree.”
