Gelli printing, or gel plate printing, is a form of mono-printing that uses a reusable, soft gelatine-like plate to create unique, layered images on paper. Acrylic paint is applied to the plate with a brayer & textures and designs can be created by pressing objects like leaves, stencils, or tools onto the surface, and then lift a print by pressing paper onto the plate to transfer the image.
The workshop is designed for beginners and will look at the use of gel plates, stencils and found objects such as leaves.
This workshop is presented by Murrurundi Arts & Crafts Council and supported by an AUH Micro Grant.
Thursday 22 January 2026, 10am to 2pm.
Murrurundi Railway Station Art Rooms, Victoria Street, Murrurundi
