How do you talk about yourself and your creative practice when the words just won’t come?
A strong artist bio and artist statement are two of the most useful tools an artist can have. They can help you introduce yourself, explain your practice and confidently put your work forward for exhibitions, funding opportunities, awards, residencies, websites, media and more.
In this practical online workshop, ARAA will break down the difference between an artist bio and an artist statement, what each one needs to do, and how to write them in a way that sounds professional while still sounding like you.
4 November 2026, 10 to 11am.
Online
This workshop is presented by Aboriginal Regional Arts Alliance.
