Discover the stories and personalities captured in the 2025 Archibald Prize. Australia’s iconic, and sometimes controversial, portrait award brings together artists from across the country and Aotearoa New Zealand.
The exhibition spans well-known public figures, personal relationships and moments of introspection, offering a unique perspective on the people who shape our culture, communities and everyday lives.

Up the Garden Path
Sue Adams, Teresa Byrne, Alison Hodges, Hilary Nicol, Fran Wachtel. These Upper Hunter artists are drawn together by a mutual love of art, wine, fine food, and gardening.

Young Archie Muswellbrook
As part of the Archibald Prize 2025 exhibition at Muswellbrook Regional Arts Centre, the Young Archie Muswellbrook competition invited children and young people aged 5 to 18 to create a portrait of someone special to them. A selection of finalists chosen from submissions are displayed in the gallery.
